While I was staying in the Philippines as a JICA expert for an IT project, I went to El Nido Miniloc resort on Palawan island from August 19 to 21, 2005 with my two sons who were visiting me. From Manila, we took a one-hour flight to El Nido airport on a Dornier 228 twin turbo-prop aeroplane (now it's been replaced with a bigger aeroplane), then by a 45-minute boat ride to the resort.
